All, took apart bike way too long ago (lifetis interruptus, you know), and am now at a bit of a loss. In the attached picture there is two connectors (white under the horn and the orange to the left) that I am unable to find a mate for. Are they unattached and happy or separated and sad ? Thanks!
Also... Anyone know what the 3/4 volume number reading is on the Kenwood kdc-x998 ?
There will likely be a few plugs in your harness that wont be hooked up to something. The harnesses that Harley uses in say a touring model will be pretty universal. Certain models like CVO or limited may utilize a portion of the harness that a classic may not. If your connectors in question were meant to be hooked up there would be the other mate to plug close by. Have a look... If nothing is found go ahead and power up system and check if it all works. Then start bike and monitor gauges and all other functions. Your likely ok as I haven't been under the hood in some time.
I believe the white plug is a gauge connector. Looks like you installed the B3 in a gauge spot? The other connectors look like they could be the factory speaker connections. Is it 1 connector or two taped together? The orange multi pin plug likely doesn't have a mate.
