Hi guys... I’m hoping this is a simple fix but who knows? I have a 2017 Ultra LTD. I’ve never used a headset on any of the bikes I’ve ever owned. My question is, can my wife use the headset for audio on the rear plug and still have sound in the front speakers for me? I’ve tried different configurations but so far it’s either headset or speakers. Thanks in advance.

 

It's either headset or speakers as you suspected. I have not been able to get both to work. So if my wife wants to put ear buds on then I have to as well. That is if we want to listen through the Boom audio.

That would be a great upgrade for HD to do. My wife says she can't hear the speakers as well, and with the wind she prefers to have her ear buds in. But I prefer to listen to the speakers. It would be awesome to be able to do both.

 

Thanks. That’s what I was afraid of. I’ve even tried to BT pair her earbuds to my phone as I use a playlist from that. Unfortunately, if the bike is paired, nothing else can be I guess. Thanks for the heads up. Have a great day.

 

Is it possible with your phone to plug the audio jack of the phone into your head unit and then pair the bluetooth to your wife's earbuds?
