MR500's have made me very happy as midrange speakers. They are LOUD and very clear with 200w going to each of them. I've never used PRV tweeters or 10's so I can't comment on them but a 10/8 will be required with the mr500's as they aren't a speaker that will play low and loud at the same time (for me at least) but they are amazing at vocals and up to 10k hz.
I do use a DSR1 as well and I'm very happy with it but it's by first DSP in a very long time so I don't know how to compare it to the plethora of other options out there.
For amps I'm using SD stuff because I love the power for the size.
Thanks for the input on the MR500. I ordered them and should have them in 1-2 days. What SD amp should I go with? I still have my RF400 from a previous build, and plan to use this in addition to any other amp.

I personally am not a fan of the currant SD amps. They are loud as hell but for my old ears, the SQ from them just isn't the same as a JL, stinger or even a tm400 amp. As Haze stated, the t400 will work but they are $$ for what you get. I ran one for a long time and still have it on the shelf just incase but I replaced it with a stinger and couldn't be happier. I did try a SD 1200.4 evo but just couldn't get it to sound as good as the stinger. I am sure with a dsp, the SD amp can be tuned to sound good.
Im new to PA. Right now Im taking recommendations and weighing options. If not SD, what would u recommend?
Not at all saying SD is not a very solid choice. Just curious why you ask what SD amp you should get. Lots of choices out there and some other brands may fit your specific build a bit better.
I currently have TM400 from a previous build, so the shop suggested I stick w/ RF. Someone mentioned SD, so I was curious what would go well with my build.
