Why are you going to cut the pods?

 

There is a post on the board where a guy but the pods and turned them into makeshift brackets. His report was of a much better sound. I'll see if I can find the thread.

 

I know the thread you're referring to. Don't cut up your pods until you've at least tried a set of speakers in them.

I know the mm's have to be mounted inside the pod. Any suggestion on using poly fill or not?

 

I believed I solved my amp issue. I cancelled the NVX and ordered a B52. My understanding is that it will fit on the stock bracket. When it's time to add lowers, I'll just buy another B52 or run 2 ohm. Also saved me $120 returning the J&M bracket.
