Question fellas
Just over a year ago I upgraded to 4 mm1 polka and a rz4-1000d amp , love the system worked great all last year. Today I went for my first good ride of the season 10 minutes into the ride I lost sound out of the right front speaker only finished my ride expecting to take it all apart looking for a loose wire or something. When I got home I shut the bike off and then turned it back in and the right front started working again. Not sure what to look for at this point. Any suggestions would be appreciated
Just like a computer sometimes you have to reset um'',,,,,,,,kidding,,,,,,,,,,,,, It maybe follow your footsteps and try to get it act up,,, let it it run for a few minutes with some volume and let it heat up ,,,,seee if it cycles again,,,,,,
Im not familiar with that particular amp, but some amplifiers will go into protect mode. If no adjustments were made between last season and this one, I'd be looking for an intermittent connection. Check speaker output at amp and speaker, also check the rca connection between head unit and amp.
I have the SS PN$.1000d and i lose the left front about every two months, Two things fix it temp. 1 turning up the volume and it comes back. 2 taking the Fairing off and cycling the LP Flat HP filter selector. The 2nd seems to work for a couple of months or so., 1 seems to fix it very temp.
Rode it again today for about an hour and it stayed on so maybe turning it off the back on resets something. If it happens again I’ll open it up and check all the connections but I would rather not under that fairing is like putting ten pounds of crap in a five pound bag.
