thats great to know. I never dealt with pot audio speakers are they shallow mount or do they have huge magnets ? Im using a DD Audio D4.90 for my interior speakers
On my way to work I got to thinking about car audio vs bike audio. In my younger days I spent tons of money on my car audio. Now I have the stock 08 bose audio on the car and spend money on the bike. Do you guys spend the time and effort on your vehicles?
I did, the stock system in my car sucked, got close to 5K in the dam thing now, and it's a high dollar car, it all started because I wanted to be able to plug in my ipod touch. british audio (Linn from 2006 anyway) sucks lol
I have a 2018 Suburban with the top level Bose. Added a JL Stealthbox hidden inside the console and small JL mono amp and a bass ****. Now it has bass and happy enough w the rest of the stock system. You should see the Bose "subwoofer" that it replaced,a joke.
My 71 corvette has components in the doors and a single 10" sub, all off a 4 channel, but it's all 15 years old now and was pretty middle of the road stuff back then. Now that my bike sounds so good, I really want to upgrade the vette!!

I used to put audio in my daily drivers now I only do it in my classic cars. I currently have about $3500 worth of audio in my 87 Grand National and I’m still not satisfied.
Have you ever seen John Sketoe's GN? That thing sounds awesome!
