On my way to work I got to thinking about car audio vs bike audio. In my younger days I spent tons of money on my car audio. Now I have the stock 08 bose audio on the car and spend money on the bike. Do you guys spend the time and effort on your vehicles?
I have spent money on them in the past but nowadays the systems in these newer vehicles do pretty damn good on their own. My Ram 2500 has a stock setup that will rattle the windows and vibrate the mirrors.
I used to put audio in my daily drivers now I only do it in my classic cars. I currently have about $3500 worth of audio in my 87 Grand National and I’m still not satisfied.

Tough car to do a good system in if you don't want to cut it up.
Yea that’s half my problem, my car has the factory door speakers (concert sound) and they are 5.25 and also have to be shallow mount. For the rear I use 6x9 adapters. I wonder how some pro audio would sound in there.
Always add a amp and a sub at the minimum to any of my cars or trucks. Had a 2000 Viper that didn't have any room in the cab to put a sub, I made a small custom box for a 8" sub fit in the passenger footwell, sounded great, still had legroom for a passenger.
I used to all the time. Spent a ton of money on a full custom install in my Cutlass in high school. Now? No way. My last truck was a Dodge 3500 and that thing had a great quality stereo. My current is a 15 F150 and this thing has factory sub and rocks.
Finally have a car system that I'm leaving alone, Audi's Bang & Olufsen, and putting more and more money into bike. Even though I only get to ride bike 6 months out of the year, lol.
