There are a few of us using the new NVX VADM4. Bridged it's 200+ watts, it's small (3.4"W x 7.2"L x 1.45"H) and it can be had for $150-$170. For a two speaker only fairing set up it would work nicely.

its ok to be a little leery of new and leading edge technology some of us
like the old tried and true way. Another good fairing only set up is the Arc Moto 602
and maybe the Jl mx280/4 or SD 400.4 new version when it comes out.

Arc 602's aren't real efficient and are fragile. If you do a search on this forum you will find threads where people are looking for one as the other has blown. The new wdx gen II motos have been getting good reports but I have not heard or had them yet. The hcx's are a solid performer that are bullet proof but as technology moves forward, these are fast becoming outdated as speakers get better sounding and more efficient.

I would throw MMATS 601cx into the ring as well. Real good sound speaker and MMATS is pretty adamant about how well their “waterproofing” is

I have not run those ....yet..... but hear great reviews on them and if they are anything like the pa690.4 cx they are a winner.

I did a lot of looking around when choosing speakers and I heard a lot of good things about MMATS. Called them and talked to them a little bit about their speakers and ordered them over the phone after talking with them. Don’t regret it a bit.

I sure have had the same experience with mmats. 601.4 in lowers, 601cx in the fairing, and md 4110 amp. Really crisp clean sound and volume to spare. Along with my new Pioneer hu, it is a way better system then I expected it would be. Very happy with the setup.

Why everyone here loves NVX or PRV? Nobody likes Rockford Fosgate Powers series speakers? Or Focal? Focal Flax coaxials sounds amazing in 2014+ Batwing fairing Just asking, don't ban me lol
