Default Amp and Speakers
Ok this topic has been beaten to death but I'm still on the ropes, I have a 2015 SGS with stock everything, want to put an amp in it and upgrade the speakers, not going to put lowers or speakers in the bags just fairing only, have about a 1000. dollars to spend leaning towards the RF amp and need some good speakers. Looking at wdx moto gen 2 maybe hertz 165.3 or even Kaapaa's. Like everyone else only want to do it once.. listen to classic rock and roll maybe some country.. speakers are the things I'm having the most trouble with.. thank you in advance

First you will need a bt 355 line leveler to flatten out the drastic signal coming from the boom hu. What RF amp are you looking at?

That is a good amp but if it were me, I would get a stinger spx 700x4 as it is a bit louder, easier to install (everything out front) and cheaper if you research well. I ran the tm400 for a long time but running the stinger now and like it a lot better.

Didn't think you could get any easier to install than the RF, where would I find reviews on this amp? Who sells it etc?

How about that new NVX amp? If he's not planning on more than 2 speakers, might me a good choice.

If just the fairing only, I would go with Cerwin Vega B52 and the WDX Gen 2's. The CV is cheaper, and smaller and plenty of proven power.
