On the amp depending on the brand. My is set to flat because I/you are controlling that with the DSR for the frequency. Gains I have 3 channels. I disconnect 2 of the 3 and set the gains 1 at a time turn HU to 3/4 start at the bottom of the gain turn the gain up until it sounds like crap or distorts and back off a bit until it's clear. When riding it is recommend after you set the gains not to go over 3/4. Example my max is 50 on my HU. I set my max gain at 37 for all three sets of speakers. I hope that makes sense. Also there are 3 settings on the DSR start screen gain punch and master volume. Punch is for a add on. But the master volume should be at max when you are setting it up. I turned it down while playing with everything and I could not get my volume to go up and could not figure out why for a bit. Was a scared. lol

I did not have to. I just turned the master back up to full. I had screwed with the app so much I just remembered where I had it only took like 5 min. Best part about this if you want you can screw with the app any time you stop for gas or whatever. Just keep dialing I don't think that will ever end. I helped a friend with his stereo and he said it's awesome makes his ears bleed. Today I went for like a two hour ride. I know when I turned it up it got louder, but sounded like it just got clearer. At 75MPH I could here in this song people snapping there fingers. That is way better than bleeding! lol

Outstanding, glad you got it the way you wanted it. I am still playing with the app to try to understand it b4 I put it back on my bike. I had it on there b4 , and sound like crap. I set my gains with DD-1 and have my frequency at about 80hz. So I have to go back in and change it to the lowest sitting?

I'm sorry, you don't use pink noise. You need a 1k test tone. https://jlaudio.zendesk.com/hc/en-us...-Setting-Guide

set your amp gains for the wattage(amps rating) per this chart (not set in stone) starting point
What are the freq's your speakers are rated at? That's how you figure out crossovers, then play a little to get best sound. But 80hz is a good starting point.

I'm kind of confused. You guys are running all pass or full pass with ur amps right? Then using bandbass crossover settings on ur DSP for all of the speakers? Even full range speakers.
Those crossover settings are indeed based on speaker specs but u also must factor in the sled audio environment in that a 40 Hz 6.5 speaker has no place playing below about a crossover of 80 on a sled as ur sacrificing the desired performance u need with engine noise, wind, etc. The distortion of the lower frequencies will be the limiting factor thus approx 80hz as a start and in many cases 80-100 Hz for daily riding sleds in order to filter out the lower freqs that cause 6.5s to take a knee / distort.

On mine I am using band pass on the mids and high pass on the upper faring and rears. The mids are in the lower faring. I set the crossover based on the speaker specs but if you think 80 is best I will try that also. Thanks either way right now sounds awsome. Again always tweaking

I would aswsome that if there was no way to change it. Flat or pass was the the default. JMO
