Very interesting. I wonder what affect it may have on how clean a system sounds (distortion wise) or how hard the amps have to work?
I would not think there is a lot of power going and driving the higher Fz's. But, you can use this clip and see with no filters (crossovers) where a speaker can come in at and and where you loose it at too.
Some speakers or horns you may be able to hear in the higher Fz's better than other speakers. If you are at a computer, the crappy computer speakers may give out before your hearing does.
Looks like I also can't hear anything below 100Hz either. Maybe just capping the low end there on everything would save some wear and tear on my speakers.

wow I thought my hearing was bad but nothing below 100 is crazy
Just a bit of my experience with that tone scale. On my phone I lost a lot at both ends of the spectrum. I think you need to play it through something of higher quality to truly hear the upper & lowers.
I played it through my shop stereo. Onkyo receiver and Bose 301's. I began to hear it at about 40-45hz. I quit hearing it at about 16k if I remember correctly. I "liked" nothing after about 10,500 - 11k. Maybe that explains why I'm not a fan of blaring, ear piercing horns. Ymmv.

You can BT this to the bike and mess with it too. This same tone helped when I put that SD 600.1 in my buddies bike since you can not really tell where the crossovers are set. I also used a RTA with that amp.
Run it through the bike, I would not run it full blast but another tool to see when and where some speakers are coming and when you are loosing them.

This site breaks it back down to basics and even gives sound bites so you can understand what is going on in the different frequency ranges. I hope this helps.
