Out of curiosity, how many start with the arc default tune for Rushmore? This tune looks radical but they claim it’s designed to counter the stock eq curve from the hu.
That's exactly where I started. At the time I didn't realize that it was that radical looking. I adjusted it to suit my tastes, liitle by little.
Last year at the MnG is when my tune looking the way it did, came up. When a couple guys who are more informed than I made mention, we changed the tune to something less radical and even. It ended up sounding worse, thinking I had a bad amp.
Long story short, I believe the differences in the graphs were related to the head unit flashes. The guys running a more conventional, less radical tune, were flashed 8sp/2amp. My bike has the stock Ultra 4sp/0amp.
I'm no expert by any stretch, but it made sense in my head.
If ur trying to compensate for a radical Boom HU bass curve I'm kind of thinking that boosting the hell out of the tune like ARC preset is the right strategy.
