Now that I have the BT bracket issue solved, hopefully, I'm trying to plan ahead for lowers. I have an extra amp (NVX VAD2) with a small footprint. How close is too close to the back of the speaker? Would the pictures attached be too close of a mounting point? This isn't happening anytime soon, just trying to see if it is a viable option, since I know I want to add lowers in the future.

You probably won't be able to get the fairing back on in that location - the other side has more room (no cig lighter) or what about the CB cubbyhole?

I have a B52 in the CB hole for my VO6X9S. I could take the cigarette lighter out and lower the amp a little? Hell, by the time my wife lets me buy lowers, I'll figure something out.

What's on the clutch side bracket? You have more real estate over there.

Here is a photo before I cleaned the wiring up. I have the B52 in the clutch side CB hole, as well as a distribution block.

Yeah but what is on the outside of the bracket? You can use both sides.

Not a bad idea. I really dont see myself going any further than lowers, so maybe that clutch side bracket is the way to go. Avoid the cigarette lighter impedement.
