Default Fairing bolts

I can find a million posts by searching, but none seem to answer my question. Can someone please confirm that the bolts on the outside of the inner Fairing, that connect to the butter fairing are 1/4" 20? What are the two different lengths? Pretty sure the top ones are 3"

I just ran out to the garage, removed one, and measured it. For the Pre-Rushmore, they are 1/4-20 x 5/8" with a T27 head and are black oxide.

Not sure what year you have, sounds like it might be a Rushmore if you're seeing 3" ers?

It's definitely a Rushmore 2019 SGS. The there are two long bolts by the mirror holes that are about 3" and two shorter ones down below that, which I think are 1 3/4" long.

Ok ok no disrespect here but go pull the ones out of your fairing and measure them and take them
to a hardware store where they can determine pitch and thread size. We all know what bolts your talking anout
just don’t understand why you want us to do the work.

Not asking anyone to do work, just thought someone might know off the top of their heads. I did measure, but not being a mechanical genius, wanted to confirm what I found.

Again no disrespect but a tape measure is a tape measure. Not understanding why you
need this confirmed especially in the audio section. If your wondering if their are suppose to be two different
size bolts on each side the answer is yes.

I've found more support and help from the audio section than any other section on this board. Based on the fact that a lot of folks on here disassemble their fairings on a regular basis, I assumed that someone else had replace those bolts. I am fully aware of the two different sizes, I was just trying to confirm, in case some had the knowledge off the top of their heads. Not asking anyone to go disassemble their bike to save me the trouble. If you know it, great, I can stop by Home Depot on the way home. If not, I'll go take it apart and go up to Home Depot to match it.

Why not go to the Dealer and get the correct ones? Also why do you need new ones already if your bike is brand new? someone already gave you an answer so you should be able to go get them after work.

I highly recommend not using generics. Just get a full set from the local Harley dealer, and give up the Starbucks for a day.

I'm really not sure why you're being an *******. I stripped a screw by mistakingly using a T25. I'd like to fix that problem by replacing the screws. The previously given answer was for a 5/8" length, which is not what is on the Rushmore models, unless I am completely mistaken on screw nomenclature. I've checked the Harley website and can't find the part under the 2019 Street Glide Special.

Again, I'm not asking anyone to do my work. I posted hoping someone would know off the top of their heads. There's no reason to question every post with a dick head comment. I'm a novice at best working on bikes, and trying to do everything myself.

If the purpose of this board is not to help others out, then perhaps I'm on the wrong board.
