Hertz Mpx-690.3 Waterproof?

Hi,

Looking to buy these speakers for my lids but I wonder if they are waterproof. I do a lot of travel in the rain here up north and if I do the purchase, considering the price, I don't want to replace these after few ride in the rain.

I suspected it but nothing better than to ask you people with experience.

I will probably go with the Mmatts PA690.4cx

I think the mmats are available with water treatment, but are still not waterproof. For what it's worth you could easily treat the Hertz with camp dry as well.

Yes, Mmats are available with water treatment and they have good review from TG IIRC. I prefer to go with a speaker that has been treat at the factory.
