i just installed a arc moto 600.4 amp with two speakers in the fairing only. I have seen the DSP and the Arc PSM.. im very new to this stuff, is it worth it to put these on a bike where we are limited to frequency we can hear at speed? I am not looking to make a competition bike or something to sit and listen to. I want a functional option, one that is ridden at highway speed. I have my setup tuned the best it can be in my opinion according to my ears.

what will this PSM or DSP do to make my system any better than it is now at 75mph? can you "really" hear that much of a diference? if so how?

secondly, does anyone have a link or info that I can learn more about the products and their purpose?

thanks again everyone!

Juice started a thread "how much power is left on the table". There is some explanations in that thread. But for me I have 4 channel amp that I want to make the most out of. I am planning on running 8 speakers off it with each set of speakers in parallel. For example the fairing will be on one channel. In order to get the most from my planned set up I need to operate in mono and use the DSP to individually set each channel to match level and frequency. This will maximize the clarity and volume at 80mph without damaging my components.
There may very little or no value for some to add one of these components.

i have run all of the big 3, the ARC PSM, the RF DSR1 and the DD Dsi2.....it depends on your build of course, but my normal choice is the DD, if size permits, the build quality and function is great and for me the software was easy enough to work with...2nd choice is the ARC, but the drawback on that one is the output channel limit of 6, but for a lot of bikes this is just fine, the size is great and the software works ok and there are lots of ARC videos about their larger unit and most of it a[pplies to the PSM. the RF is last on my list.

Good to know. That DD does look like the best choice. I have seen pics of it in the batwing so it fits too. I looked at some info on the Dayton that has been mentioned as well. It looks like a solid unit too. Just not sure if it fits. Any takers?? Pics??
