I have a 2003 flhpi, no fairing, but have a 150w uniqcycle audio system. I am looking for a louder system, ears aren’t so good and have trouble hearing at freeway speeds, Bluetooth would be great or something I can just plug in a thumbdrive
thanks in advance
Where are your current speakers? Lower fairing? Bag lids? What is you budget? Where do you want to mount your amp? I am not the expert but these are questions that are going to need to be answered to get you the best advice possible.
not opposed to either, I did not think I could get lids for my flhpi since I have top ***** on bags , and not opposed to mounting 4 speakers instead of my 2
I'm going to bump this one because there is more usable info here that the second thread that you started. If you don't have a fairing and you cant use lids, then you are limited to adding lower fairings, speakers in your bags facing the rear wheel, adding a tour pack, or clamp on speakers on the handlebars and/or crash bars.
Do you want to keep the amp under the seat or are you open to loosing storage room in your saddlebags?
With a budget of $600 and your current requirements (as I know them) you will be limited to a more powerful version of what you have, with the clamp on speaker pods as far as I can tell.
Thanks, I just looked at the website and it might be just what I am looking for. I also checked out the steel horse in the meantime. The one you located looks right for me.
So I have looked at multiple reviews between the motorcycle tunes and steel horse handlebar setup. Each site says they are the best. I want to be able to play phone, iPod or usb drive. Any thoughts on which system is actually better.
