It's too bad JL doesn't make an 880 woofer. Or do they?
That really is the most balanced & solid performing 8" speaker money can buy for a sled rider application.
I got the AdvanBlack lids so it's 8 with a horn. I actually still have some Mmat Ds26 horns laying around, so that may push me towards the 200L. If Sonic will ever shipy DSR I'll be able to have some cool crossover control.

As stated before & very subjective is I just don't think the Hertz 8s are awesome in the lids. Yellow Basket GZs are solid. The DD V0 W8s hit damn hard but are heavy as fuxx & rather grande. Prob my favorite though, this week.
Beyma has some awesome 8s but more detailed with a bit tighter excursion thus not the pounding mid bass.
Lots of options brother. Hit up a few bike nights before jumping in the deep end.

I really like the yellow baskets and the DD w8a. They seem to have a lower freq response and high sensitivity. Then add the horn.
Thanks guys for all the feedback. I have heard lots of 8's lately but not sure what fits in what. yellow baskets sound good as do the sv200L's. Probably running them off a vadm4 bridged. Spec sheet states 200w each but dynoed more like 320-340 each side.
