Just an update. Started the installation yesterday afternoon. We finished up the majority of the work before we called it a day. Only things left to do is tin the power and ground wires, solder speaker wires to the AMP output wires, secure AMP and tune, reassemble fairing.
The VTwin tourpak adapters are a nice piece of work (of course they should be for the price.) Hopefully the MMATS will perform as well as they look. Just taking them out of the box and they scream "this is a quality speaker". Really impressed.........

Yep those VTwin adapters are a tough pill to swallow, but they sure do look, and work good. Just put those Mmats 601.cx in my lowers and tour pack. Great sounding speaker. Haven't tried them in the fairing yet but they sure complimented the Kappa's I had in there, and go great with the DB WDX6's I just installed.
