Default led tail lights causing antenna interference?

I added some custom dynamic led tail lights to my '14 street glide. seems like I have more radio static than before. I put an LED head light in an had to add a shielding cable to correct that. The previous owner put a shorter antenna on, around 18", I'm thinking about adding a 27" inch one to improve reception. I know everyone streams now but I like to get the sports talk an games sometimes when riding. Eventually I'm going to rip a bunch of my favorite songs off my CD's an put them on a flash drive. I searched google but no answer there so I thought I'd post up here before buying the antenna.

Could be a bad ground on the new lights, radio, or both.
Maybe ant connection.
