At the time, there were no horns in the back, only the front. That may help brighten them up.

Just curious, what all did you have to do to fit those sv200L in the lids

It's what I referred to as a sandwich fit. You will never get them on sitting flat. You hold them in place and screw them in, as far as the basket will let them go. You'll want silicon around the edge for water protection. The other option is to buy some audiopipe 8.5" 1" speaker rings. Dremel the bottom half of the outside ring. This should give you a flat way to mount the speaker.

Still scratching my head as to why an 8" speaker does not fit an 8" lid.

Is it some kind of metric conversion that got lost in translation?

"Not all sizes are created equal". 8" doesn't mean 8". Beymas are like 8.4 for example.

So I'm guessing that Advan failed to factor in the most notable speaker brands on the market when they created their blue prints? Damn crazy oversight!!!

Well I hope they dont make that mistake on their lowers they're supposed to be releasing. I'm kinda interested in them.
