why would you want to disable it? ,,, all it does is automatically adjust the volume up or down the same as you can do with the handlebar control ,,,,,,
Why take the risk if it gets turned on and blows your amp?

I appreciate the info guys. All the info cleared some things up. I did not know about the volume control issue. Now all I need to do is start spending some money and tearing up stuff. I wonder what parts Ill let the smoke out of. Again guys, thanks for info.
+1 on the Mmats 601.4cx. I have a set in the fairing and a set of the mid-range 601.4 in my lowers. The CX are crystal clear and loud. Perfect for volume at speed. The mid range fill in the sound and get just as loud.
I don't use my tour pak so I can't speak to speakers there, but I do have speakers in the lids. Much of that sound I don't hear at speed, but my wife does.
If I were you I'd stay with the Mmats all the way around. The 601.4 mid-range are less than the CX coax and well worth it.
Foghorn ,,,,, best J&M kit we offer for the $ spent here https://www.jmcorp.com/ProductDetail...XK-400SP4-14UL ,,, 100% plug-n-play and is tuned for the Stock Harley Flash so that all radio controls work as normal ,,,
Has anyone tried this? I have seen some comments about some plug and play setups People say don’t do it. Is this one of those? I don’t know about the system. Might not be worth the cost.
