If you can get the SD under the radio, you can mount the DA MIcro4v2 on top of the headlight. Not sure where to squeeze a DD DSI1 after that though. The ARC PSM would probably fit somewhere.

One was is a road glide and the other is an ultra limited. Both sound awesome. Their set ups were Arc amps and
Focal EC 165K speakers. Both are 4 speaker set ups.

Diamond Audio micro4 (it fits) to the lowers
Sony Radio
Arc PSM or DD DSI1 as the DSP.

Let it rip.
I actually have another SD800.4 . Would that be suitable replacement for this set up to run the speakers in the lowers if amp was placed in one of the bags? Also have a rockford dsr1. Would that work instead of the other DSP or are the others that much better?

I don't really think there is an issue with your current speakers. The HCX 165 are proven performers built like a tank and can easily handle more power than you're giving them. Same thing for the MMATS. Loud is an interesting term that gets used a lot when discussing bike audio. But it really boils down to about five things;

Wattage coming from the AMP
Power handling capability of the speakers
Sensitivity rating of the speakers
How much clean power can you feed the speakers before they start to distort
How many speakers you're running

I commonly recommend to people that they target 150W minimum per channel on a Shark Nose, and 175W to 225W or more is even better.

If you want "louder" figure out a solution for driving more clean watts to your current speakers. Tweak your tune, and then go from there.
I actually already have another SD 800.4 amp. Would one running fairing speakers and the other running lowers out of a saddlebag be a better option than what I am running now. Both sets still controlled through dsr1 as well?

One sd800.4 2ohm wired bridge/parallel will give all 4 200w each.

True. But then how can you tune them seperately?

You don't parallel left and right, you parallel stages ie fairing on channel 1/2 w cross / gain set accordingly and lowers on 3/4 w cross and gain set accordingly.

Me too. Gonna hold off on the merry go round for a bit and wait til I can go with something like this. I loaded tune sent to me last night for the dsr1 and it improved it quite a bit. Gonna tune the amp a bit tonight and see if I can get a little more out of it. Maybe take to local audio place to get tuned correctly. Then wait until I can do it up right. Looks like I bought the wrong amps for what I wanted to do this time. Another lesson learned.
