Default Cruise control quit

I had a mechanic install a new Kenwood radio and grips on my 1997 FLHTCUI and the cruise control quit working.
Any ideas?
Thanks

Did You check to see if Your Brake Light is stuck on?
If so you may have a broken brake switch in Your hand grip.

check the throttle cable freeplay adjustment, if it is not correct the cruise control with not function correctly as there is a switch in the cable.

Yep, I have an idea. Since you had a mechanic do some work on it and now the cruise doesn't work. why wouldn't you have the mechanic fix what he screwed up?

The (switch) spade connector on the throttle cable, at the steering neck. Don't know if disconnecting it or grounding it would test it, but id start there.

Not to shix on the guy, but he doesn't sound like any mechanics I know.

Maybe he's just a parts changer instead.
