So still want to know what the difference in those iblocs and bt355s are.
Also if anyone can tell from the pics if my connections are still intact to just swap out the iblocs for the bt355s, that would be great! Will I need anything else? I guess I have the RCA cables in there, once I take those locs out.

BT355 are LOCs and also have a filter to filter out the crap HD EQ. There is a wealth of information here about the BT355 and also the HD EQ available through the forums search function.
For your other question take a picture of the wires going into the LOCs(opposite the RCA wires) there should be a plug upstream of the input wires.

If that plug comes out of the radio and goes into the LOC that is the plug you are looking for. The BT355 will use that plug to connect to your bike. As unimpressed as I am with the use of regular LOCs I am impressed that the installer took time to do it right and not just cut them off.

Yeah I think he did a great job. Especially considering what he had to work with after Sound Solutions was in there. He made his own wiring with heat shrink wrap, and I think he may have made those plugs. I think they WERE cut off by Sound Solutions before.
I did have to turn my head when he drilled the pilot holes for the RF lid templates. lol Made me cringe, but they look great!
