Default Rain Cover - Sony MEX-70BT

Is anyone using a rain cover/splash guard with this head unit (Sony MEX-70BT) they they can recommend? Have been reading the threads, but I'm finding varying opinions of what works and what doesn't. Trying to get a head start on buying one from someone that has one.

Thanks,

Paul

I also have the Biketronics unit. It’s a simple push in friction fit but has never failed me.

Another vote for biketronics. I have a bt66. Scosche makes one as well, it looks great and uses a rubber Oring. I tried it and would not stay in place on the road. The bt ended up vibrating out as well and I ended up adding “black” click-loc Velcro behind the sides. Has never budged since. And it looks good too.

From my understanding, Biketronics isn't selling those covers any more. Worth a call to see though. If you can get one from them, the BT68 is the one you want.

I've been running that HU for 3 years with no cover. No issues at all.
