Bluetooth module
If you want a solution that allows you to see the track information on the head unit and skip forward and back with the thumb controls a lot of us have had good luck with the Metra SaddleTramp bluetooth module made specifically for the Harley HK head units. I stream all sorts of stuff through it and it works fine. The limiting factor seems to be the sound quality of the device you pair it to. My Samsung phone just doesn't sound all that great. It doesn't matter if I plug it into the AUX port directly or use Bluetooth. Since I can see the info and skip forward and back through Bluetooth I usually use that.

Yeah thats kinda what I was thinking but didnt know if that Bluetooth module basically bypassed the whole HK radio since that would be the input on the amp. That metra system looks nice but way expensive, I would just change head units, but I would see why someone would want it to keep cb and talk back and forth
