Dsr1 won't sync

Default Dsr1 won't sync
I read through the threads, so I double checked my remote wire. @dabears1985 had that secured pretty well. I was connected any able to sync a couple of changes, then it just stopped staying connected. I'm going to let it sit overnight. Maybe it will change its mind. The firmware was just loaded last month, and I rebooted my phone. I suppose I could uninstall and reinstall the app.

I'm about fed up with the DSR glitching. The next one that craps out is going into a hydraulic press.

And this is why I went with a dsi-2 lol. I had to pull the plug on the dsr1 to get it to reset and work sometimes. Pain in the ***. Try unplugging the battery for a few minutes and connecting that way. So you don't have to tear into the fairing.

I prefer a Dayton over the DSR but the guy I did it for bought his own DSP and the Dayton wouldn't fit in the fairing anyway

So I ended up pulling the fairing to double check myself. I noticed that there was a blue status light on with no power turned on. I tried a quick Google but didn't find anything. I ended up just disconnecting it and bringing it inside to reflash. Hooked it back up and it works now. If this continues to be an issue I'll look for another dsp, since I have plenty of room.

these issues are why i've moved to the Dsi-2.

With the firmware update I’ve never had issue with the DSR1. If you haven’t already, that might what you need to do.

I did update the firmware. We will see, but it's working for now.

It did not again tonight. Eventually, I got it to sync and stay connected. I'm past refund time, maybe RF can switch it out or something.
