Default Replace Arc 600 with??

I noticed while riding my right side speakers in my fairing and lower cut off. I did some research and found it to be something with the Arc moto 600. I am going to replace it and was wondering what, if any, newer amp would be a great replacement for it? I am running DD AW6.5 At28s in fairing and Beyma Pro6wnds in lowers.

I'm morbidly curious about that new Stinger that pumps 185/4. I have never seen one but depending on price it could be a damn good option.

I'm curious what issue did you find with the arc amp, that they couldn't resolve with you through tech support or warranty?

The only "common" issue with the Arc600, is the input plugs get weak and provide an intermittent connection. If you call Arc, they will more than likely take care of it.

That said, you've got options in other amps. I too, am curious about the new Stinger. I say you take one for the team, install it and give us reviews.

Hmm, 185/4 sounds mighty interesting to me as well.

Sorry for the late response. I was out on the bike a bit yesterday! I bought the amp second hand and its been a great amp. I have looked at the connection blocks and thoroughly tested them to make sure they were not the culprit. I replaced the RCA cables as well as the head unit and the problem still exists. I dont get the typical "vibration" on and off from hitting a big bump or pot hole but it is more that it shuts off for a bit then comes back on with out making an electrical click or pop sound. I thought it might be the left side output on the head unit but it seems to be narrowed down to the amp. I have not talked to ARC about it yet because I can not narrow down the issue ON the amp. Just that I have it narrowed down TO the amp. Started cheapest and went to most expensive in my troubleshooting.

Try to wiggle the crossover switches you might get that pop sound and static noise. I've hade few problems with Arc amps. Also if you can hear the fan in the amplifier- this is your another problem.
