Default Lower Speaker suggestions?

I am planning on adding the hogtunes lower fairing adapters for liquid cooled. I just installed a BT4250, BT7P1 Pro in the fairing and Hertz Mille legend woofers in the pods. Along with the biketronics line levellers.

I am planning to do lids in the future as well. My plan will be to parallel the fairing and lowers then later parallel the pods and lids.

I would like to see what the gurus have for top picks using that combination. As well as what actually fits? I see the hertz SV 165 is mentioned quite often but the fitment seems off. Hogtunes lists a max depth 2.25” and the hertz are 2.6”.

Thoughts? Suggestions?

I don’t really want to add another amp but if needed it could happen.

Thanks!

I would rethink your strategy. You do not want a 6x9 or possibly 8" lids ran in parallel with any 6.5" speaker.

I forgot all about that. Can’t set the filters up properly. Looks like I will be purchasing another amp when I do the lids!

I have an extra set of 7.1s. If I can find a grill that can fit, I am going to try them in the lowers.

Keep me posted. I am looking forward getting these done. Might try a couple of set ups.

MMats, PRV and if you want to spend the coin Hertz SV or a GZ Red basket would be a great lowers' speaker. Keep in mind there is huge power demand differences between all of them.

I am really leaning towards the hertz SV. I am big fan of Hertz speakers. Kinda thinking I should have put them in the upper fairing too.

I did a set of 8" GZ red baskets in my buddies lowers and they sound amazing and I know a guy whose got 6 or 8 of the 6.5 red baskets on his competition bike. They are great speakers. The mmats are solid performers as well.
