I am pretty sure he was talking about the VADM4. Bridged that will give you 2 separate channels, one for each 6x9, keeping it stereo.

I put the cycle up for the winter and have started my winter upgrades.

Besides some cosmetic upgrades, the stereo is going to be my winter project.

I have ordered the VADM4 amp for the 6x9's. Anyone have a fairing speaker recommendation that I can look into as well?

If you like the Hertz you could throw another set of those in there. If you want to stick w coax I really liked the DB drive motos. Is your new amp going to power lids and new speakers?

I was planning on running the new amp bridged just for the 6x9 speakers in the bags.

Are you referring to running the hertz sv 165 speakers in the fairing? I hadn't thought about that due to the style of speakers those are.

Yes I was. I know alot of people with a fairing only set up like to use those paired with the DD horns.
In my opinion I think you'd like the sound but if not wanting to go that far Hertz coax are damn fine as well as the DB drive

Are you referring to the VO B3 from DD audio, or something different?

if you are looking to keep things simple, with no dsp, stay with a coax in the fairing. the Mmats pa601.4 cx works very well and is the best bang for the buck, just make sure you set up your gains,,,,,i'm not familiar with how the BT amps work, but i'm sure others here can chime in.

I'm not opposed to the dsp route, just nervous about the tuning aspect if I end up there. The BT amp doesnt offer much for tuning controls.

What amp are you running yours with? I've been really happy with the hertz speakers I have, so adding another set and the horns is intriguing.
