Why not buy from John at Dirty Bird? They fit great/look good and are made here?
I would like to keep my factory vented lowers and find an 8" speaker box to bolt on to it if possible. ITW your set looks great. I have the coordination of a ketchup bottle though. I don't have any experience working with fiberglass and such. If you have any pics of the build process that might give some of us some gumption.
I think if anyone has 8" bolt on boxes for pre-Rushmore lowers some of us would be interested. In my case instead of trying to find a better 6.5 to go into my existing lowers a basic Mmats PA801.4 might do just as good if not better.

I built mine the way I did because I dont think a bolt on option allows enough air space for a 8 speaker to perform well in the lower frequencies, which is the main benefit to going to a larger speaker.

Makes sense. Sounds like it would be a good YouTube video project if anyone can film the steps.
