I sent an email through the contact on the Lucky 7 website. I am not in a hurry. May just run down to the shop next weekend.
After looking at the posted pics - I made some duplicates. I have 4 hours and $70 into the whole deal.
Ordered some speaker pods from Amazon, routed out some 3/4 MDF for an 8 and a piece of 1/2 plywood as a stack plate to go under the MDF for increased depth and bonded the two to the front of the pod. I then laid fiberglass for the outer form - sanded (a lot). Ill lay on some filler and sand it smooth tomorrow.
Im taking all 6 of my 6.5s out my bike and replacing them with 8- so Lucky 7 posting that pic was right up my alley. I dont need to drop $700 (before paint) for the
Dirty Bird lowers.

But in all honesty - if it werent for Lucky7 posting the pics - I wouldnt of did it that way - my idea was far more complicated. I saw theirs and was like damn - how come I didnt think of that?!?

Nice work
These are the lowers I built for my wethead last winter.
I may do some revision on them this winter for a little more depth

Nice work. DIY is the best. I made mine last winter.
