Can anybody post a picture of what the RTA is supposed to look like when setting up a DSR1. I had the bike flashed last year for 4/0 by a RF dealer. At that time I did not have the bag speakers yet and being new did not pay much attention to what they did. My system now is a 2017 SGS. 6.5. PRV 6md250nyd in the fairing pushed by a NVX VADM2. JARZ Tweeters in pods and RF TMS69 i bags both pushed by a Stinger SPX700x4.
When I look at the RTA it seems pretty flat right out of the box which surprises me. I am not sure if the RF flash flattens things out or not but it doesn't look like the pictures I have seen online while researching it.
Any help setting this up would be appreciated. It am surprised at how little info there is out there and what has been posted seems incomplete.
Are you confusing RTA with the EQ screen on the DSR1 interface? Something seems amiss here.
RTA is a tool and has nothing to do with the DSR1 other than you should own both to tune the DSR1.

When using the rta tool it appears to be pretty flat with no adjustments made to the dsr other than setting the cross overs. This is what is confusing me. The pictures of the eq curve I see online are not what I am seeing while playing the pink noise file. It appears pretty flat already. I will try to get a video tonight to show what I'm seeing. I'm confused because I was expecting to see peaks and valleys in the eq curve

If the eq in the dsr1 is set to flat and you are playing pink noise AND using a separate rta tool I'd imagine you would see a curve with peaks or valleys here or there ON the rta screen.
I agree with OutKast I would expect to see some peaks and valleys on the separate RTA. If it's "flat" out of the box that's surprising as heck, but not necessarily a bad thing. Flat doesn't always sound great though.
OK, I think I figured out that the issue is with the mic on the tablet I'm running RTA off of. When I turn the volume all the way up it flattens out the curve. I think it is just maxing out the hardware. When I turn it down the post above is what I get. The top pic is just the bag speakers and the bottom is just the fairing 6.5. I am new to this so I assume I just need to adjust things to flatten it out. Does anybody have any specific suggestions?
