Default daisy chaining amp

Good day vv1,
I want to run a jl 280/4 amp bridged to a set of hertz 6.5
I currently have a jl 600/6 powering everything else
Do I need to run all 4 RCA inputs or can I just run 2 ,to run the 280/4 in bridge mode
Thanks in advance for your input

To see if I'm following correctly
Of the 4 inputs on the 280/4 I will split to just 2 of those
And if so which 2

You can run the left channel to to the left front input and run the right channel to the left rear channel input and put the amp in 4 channel input. No need for splitters. Run the outputs channel 1-left + channel 2 rt - and the rears channel 3 left+ and channel 4 right -.

Have you tried this wiring configuration? Seems like you would only feed half of the input rails. That option isn’t listed in the manual.

JL recommends using all inputs when bridging speakers from there amp. I personally would use y splitters to all channel inputs. Left split to front channels and right split to rear channels

The amp recognizes input from either 1 side or both. I am currantly running a mmats 4110 and a nvx vadm4 bridged and wired as I stated above. after running a vm to the output side I found no difference in output from 1 or 2 input signals. By all means if jl recommends using a y splitter then do it. I could be wrong as I am a lot.
