Default Pods or brackets?

I’m going to put in the mmats 601.cx in my fairing. I have both (pods and brackets), for those running these speakers, how do you have them installed?

also thinking about adding the same speakers to lowers. I’m torn between the 601.cx, 601’s or SV165.1 off a tm400x4 amp (roughly 100w per channel). I didn’t get much feedback on my last post... any help would be great.

Will be adding the xav-ax7000 soon with no dsp.

Since you have both pods and brackets I would use one of each and report back the sound difference. I have 601cx in pods and they sound good, curious how they would sound on brackets.

I mounted mine on the BT brackets. I didn't put the fairing back on yet, but initial test they sounded amazing. Seemed much louder at a lower volume setting.
