I'm reworking my setup to clean it up, so I am moving my 600.1 2 ohm to a bag. The $49 Rockville speakers won't take this much power, so I'm looking for an 8 that can take 350 watts. The 600.1 won't turn down further than that. I was looking at the PRV 8MR600x-4 or DD VOW8a. The DD has the added luxury of being water treated. Any other contenders without stepping up to a $600 pair of GZ Reds?

You can always lower the output gain on the dsp to that channel. It's a free fix. That will send an attenuated signal to the amp, therefore providing more adjustability on the amp gain to dial in watts where you want them.

I have a set of vo-wa and will soon test in lids but I dont think either of those will fit your lids.
The 8mr600x is also on my list of prospects.
