Is the DD AW6.5" plus tweeters or horns still considered a good fairing setup ? Or will the mmats 601cx be better volume and sound quality? With the correct amp and wattage for either set up ! Thanks for any info

The DD AW6.5 are no longer. They stopped making them quite some time ago so at least it makes ur decision easier.
Prob have to go to a higher tier Hertz w fairly big watts to get the well rounded detail the AWs had. But u will not at all be disappointed by the performance of the Mmats CX.

Right on brother. Throw 150-175 watts at them and u will really like them. U gonna pair them with horns or tweeters?
Logistically the Mmats is probably an all around more efficient play not only due to ease of install but speaker efficiency as well. So if u don't have solid watts for the AWs ur definitely better off w the CX.
Ok thanks i dont realy kno on the horns or tweeters which to use im thinkin tweeters an puttin the the on there own amp channel for the separate adjustability
