Default Scratchy Speaker?

My front stage 7.1's did sound good until the other day. No excessive volume but the right speaker sounds scratchy now. I pulled it off and don't see any tears in the cone but when I move the cone I can feel it is rubbing on the inner tweeter post. So I am guessing that is why I am hearing the scratchy sound at low volume. I switched the speaker to the left channel and it still sounds the same. Time to replace?

I would check with Biketronics. They have excellent customer service and may replace free of charge. Tell them you are a forum member.

I contacted BT. They sent me a troubleshooting guide. I followed the guide and sure enough speaker is bad. I'll be sending it back for a replacement.
