Ive changed components over the years which has led me to have to change settings on the HU to accommodate the new stuff. Recently for some damn reason my HU reverted back to stock so I found myself having to go through all of the settings again. I do everything by ear as i have no tools or barely any damn knowledge to set it up properly. I thought about writing down or snapping pix of the different settings so that I dont have to go thru playing with everything over and over. Do you guys keep record of what you set as a starting point for new stuff or do you just redo **** every time?

My self I keep a log of amp output voltage and headunit settings on 90% of all the installs and tuning I do. That way I have a reference point like in your situation a headunit goes bad, or some other piece in the puzzle decides to go on a permanent vacation.
