Just installed a set of these but its daylight so i wont be able to tell for a few more hours. But i can say that there is a huge difference between the old buld brightness and the new ones. Anyone have feedback on these? Going riding now till the sun drops....
$1.99....I wouldn't expect it to last very long; but then again for $20 you can get 10 of them and if each last 1 month you're covered for the riding season.

I gues we'll be looking for feedback from you, since you just installed them...
I bought a cheap pack of 4 last summer for my Ultra. 4000 miles later they are still going strong. All the posts about buying cheap lights had me scared. I packed an extra bulb and my old headlight bulb (switched out for a sylvania silverstar) for half the riding season last year. Never needed them.
25 years ago I was on a country road riding at night through a swamp were the trees covered the road and my head light went out. Couldn't see my hand in front of my face. I had a bates housing and put the high beam switch in the High beam indicator lamp hole on the top of the headlight (It was a see no wires thing). I ran drag bars so I had to reach through the 3 1/2 OC vertical risers to change low/high. I was doing 50-60 mph and got on the brakes pretty fast with no way to get to the H/L switch and brake/clutch too. I got myself ready to go off of the right side of the road to a gravel / mud and swamp shoulder. At about 5 mph I went down and was off of the left side of the road. Never saw it coming. Changed everything the next day. Not saying these are bad lights as others have had good results. Just sayin don't take light for granted cause when it's gone you miss it pretty quick.
