Default Jensen plug and play

Any one running the plug and play head unit from Jensen hd1bt. The reviews are all over the place. I have an 08 fhltcu and the stock head unit is garbage. I also am looking to upgrade 6 speakers but I have no idea where to start. Will I require an amp? I don't plan on running subs, just the fairing, lower and rear tour pack speakers. Any advice is appreciated. Thanks.

I would say there are better HU for your application and much less as well. Yes you will need at least one amp maybe two depending on what your end goal is.

Thanks, I just want to be able to use my hand controls and be able to hear my music while doing 80 on the highway. I have seen some install kits on Amazon for around 200 including a Kenwood hu but again, some people love them, and others hate them. I wanted to keep this system relatively cheap, like around 500 dollars ...is that even possible?

Another thing that I am unsure of is if I need to get marine grade equipment all around? Hu, speakers, amp....

That is a good looking radio but my friend has the aquatic h1 and it sounds great but does not look as good as the Jensen. The Jensen looks factory!
