Brother nothing is plug n play. There's gonna be some hands on even with the claimed plug n play kits. I agree with Ganns recommendations above, but with just a few more dollars you can add an amp tray and install the SS pn4.1000d and get a better bang for your $$$.
Nothing is plug and play, or at least in the way people who sell "plug and play" would like you to believe. You will need a retro radio module to maintain your hand controls, you will need to pull the tank to run power and ground wires to the battery, you will need to splice into an ACC power from inside your fairing. You'll be running speaker wire to the rear pods while the tank is off....no, not plug and play. You'd be doing the same thing with a "plug and play" system.
Remember when we all had telephones that plugged into the wall socket with a cord and you could plug it in, pick it up and call your friend? That's plug and play. There's no such thing as a plug and play audio upgrade...even the packages sold that claim it to be. Don't let that scare you off reno, people here can provide you with the confidence needed to get this done, just know that you're going to spend some time getting this all installed and it is not just plugging a phone cord into a socket.
