I have done this on home speakers and it seemed to provide a bit cleaner and definitely more rounded sound. Does this apply to the fairing speakers as well?
Depends on the speaker. What speakers r u running or installing?

I'm gonna be selling the Kappa's I used for a season an a half an the line leveler an possibly the NVX 2 channel amp. Probably take $200 for everything. If I keep the amp an sell just the speakers an line leveler it'd be like a hundred plus shipping....does this sound fair? also I' believe these are the previous generation Kappa which I hear or read are preferred.

Sounds like it might work. Definitely let me know when you get to that point. My first issue to address is my seat so it'll be later in the winter when I start on the audio.

Ok, so now the time is near, I’m considering going ahead and replacing the rear speakers as well while I update the fairing. Do I need anything else for the rear speakers or has what’s already been mentioned enough for what I am doing?

so far my shopping list is speakers for fairing, amp, line leveler, maybe speakers for the rear.

Any other suggestions or ideas? Am I missing something?

Thanks in advance, y’all have been awesome!

You need some wiring for powering and grounding the amp.

Not to rain on anyones deals here, but I went down the cheap route and did the kappa speaker . While they sound fine and are loud enough, they're not very warm and just have no bass at all to them. I'd seriously consider the mmats over the kappas. Youd only be looking at about another 80 bucks for just the difference in speakers. Just my 2 cents based on recent personal experience.

Is that something I can pick up in a kit or something I just piece together? Or probably better asked is which way is better? Any cons or pros to either way?

Was just looking around and saw the 4 channel version of the original amp I looked at and it’s only about $30 more. It’s the Cerwin Vega B54 Stealth Bomber. I’m thinking this would give me the option to push my rear speakers when I upgrade them without having to buy a whole new amp. Is this accurate?

yes. If you're worries about keeping fm reception, many class d amps are not fm friendly.
