Looking for suggestions from what you guys have used in the past or presently. I want to get my power aligned before I start to dabble in the dsp. Either I'm going to get the Dayton or the Rockford.
Also need to add that I'd really like for it to fit in the fairing
Right now this is what's installed
2010 Street Glide
Fairing:
diamond micro 4v2
2 6.1 ohm prv 6mr500 parallel on on bridged channel
2 prv and 2 dd horns series parallel on other bridged channel
Lowers:
Soundigital 250.1 2ohm
DB euphoria es9c components
bags:
Prv Am1hn nano 2ohm
2 10 prv forte 5.1 ohm

Not sure if I agree with your wiring strategy in the fairing.
The bridged and parallel wiring with the 6mr500 puts u at a 2 ohm load and that's a no no for that amp. 4 ohm bridged only. Maybe PRV changed up those speakers but the last ones I touched were 4 ohm.
The bridged series wiring on the horns is a bit of a head scratcher as well for my pea brain. Why not just parallel one set on channel 3 and the other set on channel 4?
In here to learn thus just curious about ur strategy.

The prv 6mr are listed as 8ohm but actually 6.1ohms each a so roughly 3+ ohms. The horns they're 4 ohm each so I wired each pair series to create two 8 ohm loads then tied each pair of + & - from each other to bring back to a single 4 ohm load for the other channel.
Thanks for the reply T I think my biggest issue is that I only have 300w for a pair of speakers that can handle 500w. I posted the SD amp for sale I think what I need to do is put the DB component on the diamond and buy another amp for just the 6mr. I'm back and forth if I have enough power to my bags

Regarding the horns, why are u wanting a 4 ohm load vs a 2 ohm load? Why would u not want to separate them on different channels for DSP tuning?
Very cool u got 8 ohms ones. I'm picking up what ur laying down on that strategy.

The amp bridged is recommended only 4 ohm. As far as dsp I have no idea I'm still working on getting there haha. Why would I need or want them on different channels?
