Default Speaker upgrade

I have a 2010 FLHTCU with a Harman-Kardin head unit (am/fm,cd,cb). The speakers in the tour pack are 5 1/4 ". I havent checked the speakers in the fairing. I guess what Im actually trying to figure out is can I replace the 2 ohm speakers with 4ohm without it affecting the draw on my battery or anything else for that matter. Or does anyone have any thoughts on bluetooth speakers. Any help will be appreciated. I apologize if my question has already been asked and answered. Its just everytime I start reading these threads I see something else I need to know and before I realize it Im off in another direction. Kinda like when I go riding. Thanx again.

Replacing the stock 2ohm speakers with 4ohm won't do anything to your battery. It will however take away 1/2 your volume from the speakers. I personally recommend putting an amp in place while you're at it.

If that is not something you're interested in doing, my next best recommendation would be to replace with a better 2ohm speaker.

Thank you for responding. I think I'll go with amp. One with bluetooth or get the bluetooth separately. Thanks again

If you can I'd say replace the head unit as well. Changing the head unit add amp and new set of speakers will blow the stock away. You can do it all if you do on your own for a decent set up for about $500

Can also buy a Bluetooth adapter that plugs into your cigarette lighter for under $20
