Gents,
first of all, I'm a complete newbie when it comes to the audio/electronics.
So after getting a 2012 Street Glide a couple of months ago, I was really enjoying my audio set up. Previous owner told me that audio has been upgraded completely. It has an Alpine-123 head unit. Based on the boxes I got with the bike - looks like I have a RF PBR300X4 amp.
The bike has 4 speakers in the fairing itself - looks like 2 6.5" speakers, and then a pair of small ones right underneath - I'm assuming they are tweeters (I think this sentence totally proves that I am a complete novice). Another box that came "with the bike" is for RF T165 speakers.
So long story short - about a week ago I started hearing a hissing sound from the left speaker (coincidence or not - it started happening after I had my bike washed at the local HD dealership). OK, so the speaker is blown, I guess.
So what I need help with is pretty obvious now - what do I replace my speakers with? What are my choices for the component speakers?
I'm running the Pioneers front and rear. TSD1602R 6.5 in the fairing and I just installed the TSD6902R 6x9s in hogtune lids last night. With the crappy stock deck and a pbr300x2 on both sets of speakers it is plenty loud and clear

Since you already have a component set up . . Replace the Rockford's with these:
But you will have to replace the amp with the Rockford PBR300x2 as these are 2 ohm speakers and can't be ran with the X4 you presently have.

Also, do I have to replace tweeters as well, or can I stick with existing ones and just replace the 6.5s?
Typically component speakers are a little more power hungry than coaxial. Personally I would not run components with the X4 due to it being a little under powered ( for components) The X4 will do well with the Kicker KSC67's but they are 4 ohm coaxial speakers. If I were you I would forget about the tweeter and throw a set of Kicker coaxial in the fairing and forget about it. You will find they will sound much better than the speakers that were in there. By the way. . . What are the other two channels hooked to?

well, based on what I was able to get from the previous owner - looks like the other two channels are not hooked to anything... Apparently the plan was to add bag speakers later on...
