Default Amp on after key turned off.....

I detailed the bike (2019 SGS) the other day and when I shut her down, I heard the amp (BT4180) was still running. And it kept running. After a few minutes, I took the seat off and pulled the amp fuse. I could hear the amp shut down but then I still heard a very low hum/his/? It sounded like the HU was still on. I pulled the main fuse and it took about 10 seconds before I can hear no sound. I also have the ARC DSP. Lately I have been hearing a pop (not very loud) when I turn the bike on/off even with the HU off. The DSP is getting power direct from the battery and it's turned on by the wire on the brake side of the fairing. HU is turned on by the DSP. I also have the DSP orange wire wired into the the clutch side fairing plug. Appreciate any thoughts or suggestions......Thanks.

Without looking at a wiring diagram for your bike I have no clue but some electronic devices have large value capacitors that hold a large charge. These can hold up the supply for some time making it seem like the device is still powered.

GTS HU.
I was told the DSP should power up first and then the AMP. When I had the AMP come on first and then power the DSP, I was getting a loud pop turning the bike on/off.

yes, that is how it should be. The wording of your first post made it sound like it was wired differently.
Check the position of the auto sense switch on the dsp. It should be off.

I know, I should go pull the fairing and try this but what would it sound like if I disconnected the orange wire and not use Preset 2? Preset 1 sounds excellent with the bike on, not running. Do I need to run Preset 2?

Did this just start happening after you detailed it? I had water get under my fairing and into my jl fix dsp and the speakers started making noises and doing weird things. May be worth looking into

just copy the tune on preset 1 to preset 2.
fyi, the hu doesn’t change bin file till you start the bike.
