I'm looking for a single amp solution for the audio system build on my 2020 RGS. The only thing I've found so far that looks like it will fit in the fairing and have the power I'll need is the Focal FDP Sport. However, I'm having difficulty finding any confirmation this amp will fit in the 2020 RGS fairing.
My current plans are to use the factory HU, a Rockford DSR-1, (2) JL M6 650 in the stock locations, (2) JL M6 650 in lower fairings and (2) JL M6 8.8 in bag lids.
Any other recommendations, tips or tricks are welcomed. I'm at the very beginning of my first motorcycle audio build and would appreciate any/all input.
Not sure if the inside of the fairing has changed since 18 but I had a FDP sport, SD600.1, and a DD audio dsi2 processor in my fairing.
sure this doesn’t completely answer your question but I’m sure not much has changed so you should be ok. By the way I ran that same Rockford processor first but it crapped out on me 2 days later so I switched it out. I’m sure others have had good luck with them but it ruined my 8” speakers and I had to listen to a horrible whine all the way from Detroit to Chicago.
I dont think the fairings have changed for the rushmore and up bikes. Stinger spx 700 will fit just fine behind the head unit sitting on the back edge of the headlight bezel.

I'm going to test fit the M3 and the M6 6.5" tomorrow. The grills are not fixed. I'm more concerned with the amp fitting in the fairing and any opinion regarding the speaker/DSP selections.

Thanks for the comments.
You are going to want to find room for 2 amps and the dsp. The 880's will need at least 175w, preferably more.
The Focal FDP Sport is supposedly good for 175 watts x 4 @ 4 ohms. JL says the 8.8 are 125w RMS, 250w max.
Do you recommend a different amp or speaker?
And honestly, if your going all JL coax, a DSP isnt necessary. They are pretty good right out of the box. I mean a DSP never hurts, but space and money arent going to be worth the gain.
