Default NEED Audio Upgrade Help

Any help would be appreciated, My current set up is an aftermarket double din Metra Fairing with Sony 7000 head unit on my 13 SG. Im looking to upgrade the fairing speakers & possibly go with speaker lids. Im not looking to win competitions just a nice crisp & clear sound at highway speed. I listen to rock and country if that helps. Budget is $1000 or less. Thanks in advance

i’m subscribing to this because I am wanting to add this fairing to my ‘09. I think the biggest variable is going to be what amp will fit in the batwing with the Sony double din head. Do you have any pics with the outer fairing off you could share? Also how was the fit/finish on the inner fairing?

That looks great! Looks like there is room on top of the Sony head for a Stinger or a MMats amp like the one I am using. They are around 100 watts for the 4 ohm rating and push the MMats PA601cx pretty well. Good volume at highway speed. I also have installed WDX6MOTO-G2's in my lowers. Don't have many miles with them but they seem to complement the MMats well. They are brighter and have similar volume running off the same amp. I am sure others will chime in but here is a pic of mine before installing the MD4110.

How do you like those in your lower? I am looking to do a lower only as I have no shield or fairing. I do toss a shield on when on longer trips. I am down to those or the Beyma in the lowers.
